Artworks Studio has been offering art classes since 2007. We strive to create a unique environment in which kids of all ages, abilities & experiences can imagine, create & welcome the ARTS into their lives! We currently offer classes in Annapolis & Arnold

 I have been teaching art in an Elementary School for 29+ years and here at my studio for 18 years. I was honored to be Teacher of the Year in 2002 & 2004 and Art Educator of the Year in 2002. It is my responsibility and passion to awaken in children an interest in art.

The arts give us a language that helps us to see the connections in our world. I will provide a variety of art experiences with appropriate and challenging materials in order for the kids to create art that is meaningful to them.

When Ms. Lisa's kids were little, they loved taking classes at Artworks.
She graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education from UNC Chapel Hill and has her masters in Curriculum and Instruction.

 Lisa taught elementary school for 15 years as well as art at the community college level. She enjoys sports and cooking as well as spending time with family and being in the classroom.

Artworks is her happy place!
